Cherry Cannonball Bed.
The design of this Cannonball Bed is based on an Antique Newell Post. The double ñbeanpotî turnings with their sculpted undercuts and deep detailing show that these posts are hand-turned by a ñMaster.î Remaining true to tradition, these posts are cut out of 4î stock. The bed is built using Mortise & Tenon construction combined with bed bolts, which allows for easy disassembly and shipping. Like all styles of beds at RFFD, you can specify angle iron brackets to support your box spring and mattress, or have it built as a platform bed.
